Add to Calendar Function in Address Book Puts Some Birthdays on the Wrong Day

When I use the 'Add to Calendar...' function (Address
Book-->'Contact'-->Personal-->Birthday) the birthday shows up on the
wrong day in the calendar. When I open the event, the date is correct
in the event, it just is showing up on the wrong day in all of the
calendar views and on my PDA. This only is occuring on some birthdays,
not all of them.

The first error I encountered was when I tried to add a birthday of
04/04/1981. On the calendar, the birthday appeared on 04/03/2004 (the
day before it is supposed to, I am in the U.S.) in all views.

I am using Entourage 10.1.4 on a PowerBook G4 running OS X 10.3.2.

Obviously I could get around this problem by just creating a new event
for the correct day, but I would rather not have to check every
birthday in my address book (in other words, I am looking for a fix or
a cause of the problem, not a workaround).

Any insights or help would be appreciated. :)

Looks like a bug. I just tried it (4/4/81) on my system and got 4/3 in the
calander.

Good ole microsoft... hopefully the fix won't be the next paid
upgrade.

I looked into this further, and discovered that the date only shows up
correctly when entering 4/4/1981 in 1981. By the first repetition
(1982) it appears on the wrong day (4/3/1982-4/3/XXXX). I can't think
of how this would be important, but I figured I should post anything
that I have discovered.
