Add Yahoo Account

rikesh

Hi

Anyone know how to add a Yahoo account to OL2003, I've managed to add
Hotmail fine, but keep getting errors with Yahoo?

I suspect it's the Server URL that I'm adding, anyone know of the settings
required?

Kind Regards

Rikesh

Yahoo doesn't support WebDAV, which is required for HTTP access. You'll need
the paid Yahoo service so you can use POP3 if you want yahoo in Outlook.

You can't access Yahoo via an HTTP account in Outlook. You can pay a small
annual fee to Yahoo if you want to download it via POP.

Which version of Outlook? Create it as an HTTP account in Outlook 2002/2003.

Keith, this will (as far as I know) only work with OL2003, I don't think
this works with previous incarnations of Outlook!
