With the 'separator pages' function you waste a page each time somebody
prints something. this is not so rational; it would be practical to put your
user in a small font (6 or so) somewhere at the bottom of each page of the
document you're printing.

can this option be set or installed on windows 2000 for a lexmark t630
printer?

thanks

You need to config the individual Apps to print extra info, as far as I'm
aware its not an option of either win* or the printer driver.

Hi Bart,

The separator page can make it simple to locate where one print
job starts and another stops, without having to check each page.
Some printers 'jog' (offset) each job in their output stack as
another option. Looking for that separator page can be quicker
than leafing through piles of pages and the people's time is
going to more expensive to the company than the extra paper for
the separator :)

You can include a footer in Word documents that would have
whatever information you chose to put there, but that's not
always practical, especially if it's a presentation or letter to
be distributed either within or outside of the company.

If that printer driver supports it. It would have to be supplied by
lexmark. I suggest check the driver, and then contact their tech support.
