Addendum to "Subtotal has stopped working"

The total amount only recalculates when I filter, click in the cell formula
(=SUBTOTAL(9,O5:O1000)and press enter.

It doesn't recalculate on it's own.

This is also happening to spreadsheets where the subtotal worked fine in the
past.
