adding a new contact to a distribution list

Is there a way when i create a new contact to directly add it to an existing
distribution list directly form teh new contact window?
or do i then have to go into my distribution list set up and seach for the
new address? thi si kind of a pain as i add many new people at once and have
a tendancy to forget who i jsut added to my list.....
i would have to write down who i just added to my email list to be sure to
add them to my master distribution list.
i hope you understand what i am trying to do.

I understand, but there is no way to do this in Outlook. Membership in a
DL is not a property of a Contact. Contacts can only be added from
within the DL.
