Adding a Quicktime movie trailer

I am trying to incorperate a Movie trailer on Quicktime in to my powerpoint
presentation. The file ends with .mov I have tried to change that to mpg but
that didn't work. Anyone got a solution? Please?

Download a MOV to AVI converter from :

http://www.winmpg.com/mov-converter.html

Then Insert > Movie from File in powerpoint.
