Adding an attachment in mail once sent from word

M

Mac4x

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)

When I am in Word, writing an email to be delivered, I click on "File" "Send To", Mail Recipient (as HTML)... then my Entourage email comes up. Everything is fine, however I can not add an attachment nor can I make any adjustment to my email.

So two problems:
1. Will not allow me to attach anything (once I start in word)
2. Cannot make any changes to my email.

If I create an email right from entourage I do not have these problems.

Thanks for your help.

That is the expected behaviour. Entourage's HTML creation engine is
extremely limited, so if Entourage had the ability to modify the code
generated by Word, it would cause a terrible mess. That is the reason why
any kind of editing of messages generated in Word is disabled; Entourage
would ruin the message, so it is only allowed to send it rather than modify
it (through edits or attachments).
