ADDING CELLS WHICH ARE <> THAN OTHER CELLS

I am trying to formulate a formula or macro.
Cells A1:A10 if greater than 8000 add figure in B1:B10
a1 = 8015 b1 = 1000
a2 = 7999 b2 = 1000
a3 = 8066 b3 = 4
a4 = 6000 b4 = 28
the answer i need will be 1004
