Adding files to the list in Project Center (Entourage 2004)

Steve

I am trying to add a document created by Notebook
(www.circusponies.com). When I try to add it by either selecting it
with the "add" feature, or by dragging it to the desktop Watch Folder
for the project, it never shows up in the file list. Other file types
do show up ... i.e. PDF, Word, etc.

Does any one know if Entourage limits the file types that can show up
in the file list? I have not seen a reference to this in the help or
other web links.

Thanks for any help any one can give.

The Circus Ponies database isn't actually a file, it is an OS X "package",
which is really a folder with a special attribute set on so that OS X treats
it like a file but in a special way. Many applications are actually
packages. Anyhow, Entourage does not recognize some folders or packages;
only files. I converted a folder to a package with File Buddy, and for some
reason it does recognize that, so maybe there is more to it. But,
unfortunately, I don't think you are going to see that database show up in
your project. Same thing happens with Notetaker files.

I would submit this as a bug to Microsoft (Help menu, Send Feedback) and
also to Circus Ponies. One of them may come up with a solution.
