Adding Labels to Scattergraph points

Is there a way I can labels to a scattergraph point (eg Col A is the label
and B and C form the data point)

How would you refresh the labels on the scattergraph? e.g. If new Dat

Kevin -

If the labels are any of the built in options, they should update by
themselves. If you used a utility (like Rob Bovey's Chart Labeler,
http://appspro.com) that puts a link to a cell into the label, rather
than just text, it will show whatever the linked cell currently shows.
If you manually typed something into the label, you're going to have to
retype it.

Jon,

I am trying to create a "dynamic" XY scatter graph with labels. i hav
figured out the data portion of the graph (as I add new data to the lis
- it is added to the chart), however when I insert a dynamic range nam
into the Data Label Add-in's, they do not update the labe
correctly....

All help appreciated (my assignment is due next week)

Here's what I've done in the past. Make a chart with as many points in the series as
you could possibly need, and use the Chart Labeler to add the labels from the
longest column you'll ever need to this series. Then apply the defined names to
shrink the series. The chart remembers where the labels for the missing points come
from, as the series grows again.
