Adding logos into autosignatures?????? GOOD or BAD

Can anyone answer this question.

My organisation wants to add its logo and possibly a red line t
autosignatures.

We had mocked up a test autosignature e-mail before but as expected
clients complained as it was either blocked by firewalls, was strippe
out or generated masses of bandwidth issues.

Is there a solution to this or is it best to not add graphics int
autosignatures even if you make the graphcs small.

I don't think it's a good idea to add stationery or any logos etc to emails
as it makes them too big and creates problems for people with diffrent
versions of Outlook.
