adding lookup cell to another valued cell

I am attempting to add a cell that contains a lookup
funtion (return a value from array) to another cell that
contains only a value (400+15(15 is a lookup value)). I
get either #value or it doesn't sum the cell (as though
there is a zero value in the lookup cell).

How do I add whats in lookup cell with other values?
