Adding multiple addresses to address book

If I get a messages with a dozen or so people in the To: field (or in
the body text) is there any way to add them to the address book all at
once, or must it be one at a time?

How?

The "Add to Address Book" menu item is dimmed if they're all
highlighted, and the contextual menu loses that selection.
