Adding Music to entire Presentation

How do I do this?! I've used pp alot at my church but
never needed to add music that will play while the
presentation is running. I can get it to add a song to a
slide as an individual animation. But it plays it first
then continues animation. I want the music to play while
the slideshow runs.

Right-click on the sound icon you added, select "Custom Animation".
Depending on which version of PPT you have will determine where you change
this. In 97 and 2000 you will click the "Play" TAB and make changes here.
You might need to click the "More Options" button to have it "Loop
Continuously". In 2002 you need to click the "Add Effect" dropdown and set
an animation, then click the arrow next to the animation in the window below
it and make your changes under "Timings".
