Adding results from a If formula-Short in time

how do I add the results of if formulas =if(I3="YES","5", IF(I3="NO", "0")).
or how can I convert the results of this if formula to a number and later add
it at the end of the row.

For real numbers, do not wrap within double quotes

Try it like this, in say J3, copied down:
=IF(I3="YES",5,IF(I3="NO",0,""))

Then you can sum it easily using SUM
Eg in say, J11: =SUM(J3:J10)
