Adding some graphics to cells

Hi ,

I'm developing a customised search utility. After the search the cell
which meet the criteria have to be highlighted so as to alert the user
Pls don't suggest changing the cell background and foreground as th
cells in the excel I'm using are already color coded and using mor
color will confuse the user.

If there is any way to add a blinking effect or any other graphics t
cells that will be good. Pls let me if this is possible.

Hi
only possible with VBA. Especially blinking cells. Personal
recommendation: DON'T do blinking cells. This will be even more
annoying than more colors. If you need some code for this search the
Google archives for 'blinking cell'

Took ur advice and decided against the blinking cells option.Instea
highlighted the cell by changing the cell outlin
