Adding Sound to Power Point Presentation

I am attempting to add 15 tracks from a Audio CD to a
powerpoint presentation using Office 97 and Windows XP.
I have never attempted to add sound to a presentation and
am looking for some basic directions. Attempts to use
the INSERT menu option => Movies and Sound => Sound from
File or Play CD Audio track don't seem to work.

I am trying to add the sound to the presentation file if
posible.
