Adding task level custom tags to the anlysis cube

Has anyone used the "Portfolio Analyzer Extender for Microsoft Project Server
2002/2003" from Bogdanov & Associates?

We need to extract task level information from the cube, and the
do-it-yourself approach seems tricky and risky (and requires hard-to-get
developers). This product is only $1,000. If it works, it would be worth the
price..

Hope someone can provide info on this product or any others that will meet
the need. Thanks!

I haven't heard of this product before. Can you provide a pointer?

I have written a white paper that significantly augments the the
OLAP Extension exampleprovided in the OLAP Extension Solution
Starter portion of the Project 2003 Software Development Kit (SDK).
It may help you build a workable for task level cube on your own.

I would be interested to know what your task cube requirements
might be...

For what it is worth, the company won first prize at the Project Technical
Briefing in 2004 for their OLAP cube extender product. Hope this helps.

Depending on what task-level flags you want added to your cube, the solution
isn't necessarily all that difficult and you may be able to do it yourself.
It can be done just with vba within your Project Global template (24 lines).
It doesn't require modifying the cube.

Make sure to read the replies for a fix to the example vba and for some
additional ideas. I think you have to sign up as a TechRepublic member to
