Adding Worksheets

I am trying to add worksheets to a tracker with approximately 150 worksheets. I need 415 sheets, but now that I'm at this point Excel shuts down every time I try to add a worksheet. I am on a new computer with plenty of memory and speed. It seems to be an Excel problem. Anyone ?

Please respond to my email as I may never find this sheet again !!

There is a limit on the number of worksheets, perhaps it's 150 as you have
discovered. Have you considered using named ranges rather than worksheets to
divide your data?

Apparently it depends on what version of Excel you have. XL 2003 as I have
here is limited by available system resources.

You can look up "maximums" in Excel help and it will tell you about the
limit of worksheets.

Dave,

Thanks for your reply.. but my boss has a tracker with over 400 sheets on it. I honestly don't know what you mean by named ranges, but I'll look into it. However, I really don't want to start over on a tracker that I've spent over 30 hours on

Thanks
