addins not valid -

Windows 98, office 2000 and office xp and its
exchange 5.5 client.



When I look outlook, I get following error:

C:\WINDOWS\PROFILE\ROB\APPLICATION DATA\MICROSOFT\ADDINS\ is not valid
office add-ins.

How to get rid of this error ?

Hello,

Try renaming the file "extend.dat" and then starting Outlook. If this
does not help, open Outlook in safe mode by clicking Start -> Run ->
Outlook /safe -> OK. Then go to the Outlook add-ins, and remove any 3rd
party add-ins. The add-ins can be found by clicking Tools -> Options ->
Other Tab -> Advanced Options -> Add-In Manager. Standard Outlook Add-Ins
are Exchange Extensions, Exchange Property Pages, Delegate Access, Deleted
Item Recovery, and possibly Server Scripting.
