additional - formula error

CONFUSED
I may be using a formula that is trying to add to many cells at one time,
yet I've found nothing really to highlight the addion error. Long and short,
here is a formula I'm using and it appears the last cell is the one not
getting added.
=SUM(AQ47,AQ50,AQ53,AQ56,AQ59,AQ62,AQ65,AQ68,AQ71,AQ74,AQ77,AQ80,AQ84,AQ87,AQ90,AQ93,AQ96,AQ99,AQ102,AQ105,AQ108,AQ111,AQ114,AQ117,AQ120,AQ123,AQ126,AQ129,AQ132)

With that said, i can drop any number of the cells inside that have nothing
in them and I still get the same result with the adding error. Thanks for
the suggestion ahead of time

First of all, do you realize that you *broke* your pattern going from AQ80
to AQ84, instead of AQ83?

Intentional or typo?

Post back with verification of range.

If it was a typo, and you actually want AQ47 to AQ132 ... every third row
.... try this shorter formula:

=SUMPRODUCT((MOD(ROW(AQ47:AQ132)-2,3)=0)*(AQ47:AQ132))

Thanks - I actually am aware the so-called ever third cell being added or
should I say I broke that where you pointed it out. The main reason for the
break was to just bring down an informational line so that it could be seen
farther down the chart - without have to go back to the top to see the
category again. This would help with visual on the screen as well as
printing the paper. Maybe a better question on my part would be - how can I
correct the formula in the best fashion to adjust for this informational line
copied down from the top?

Maybe you should investigate Window>Freeze Panes so's you don't have to
insert an information line to see the category.

theres merit to that. I'd have to admit, I haven't used the tool enough to
even know something like that exists or even how it works.

Assuming your title(information) row is row 1

Select A2 and Window>Freeze Panes.

As you scroll down the sheet row 1 will remain in view.

The freezing rule is...........all rows above and all columns left of the
selected cell will remain in view as you scroll.
