When manually updating an address book contact after they send me mail
from a new address. is there any way to update the contact so that the
"Last Message Received" (Summary pane, lower right corner) includes
that last mail? If Entourage can't do it, is there a script, hack, or
other workaround solution? Thanks for your help!

Why not just link the contact to the message (Link button) and make
yourself a note in "Other" field reminding yourself to check the link, and
include the message subject date and folder in the not you write. That's
almost as good. By accessing the link you can get straight to the email
message. When you get a later email from the sender and thus an updated
"Last Message Received" , you can go back to the contact (Open Contact) and
remove the note at your convenience.

Thanks for the creating-a-link suggestion, Paul. That certainly is
one workaround solution. However, I discovered the complete solution
is to first update the contact with the new address, then drag the
message to the desktop, and then back to the Entourage Inbox (it's
actually duplicated in the Inbox at that point). Finally, delete the
original message.
