Address Book View

I've just added an view in the address book, but it didn't appear in the
view list. I tried to re-create one. It said one with the same name
exists. Is there something wrong? How can I get the view back?

I'm running Entourage 2004 (ver. 11.1.0) on OSX 10.3.6.

Charles,
my guess is that you accidentally ticked another box as well, so that the
view you created isn't for the address book alone, but also for another
component. To verify this, go to the Project Center view, where you can
find, below the Project Center list, your Custom Views. See if you can find
your view there, right-click (or ctrl-click) it and select "Edit Custom
View". Make sure that only "Contacts" are selected in the Item Types list.
After that, you should find the view in your address book view list.
