Address book

Hi,

It seems that suddenly my address book is taking way to long to open. When
I click on the address book icon while in my email portion, you can hear the
harddrive working for quite a while before I regain control of the address
book.

I have rebuilt my database and tossed all relevant preferences that I know
of, any other suggestions?

Try sorting the Address Book by "Name". Other fields aren't indexed that
way and thus it can take longer to sort them on opening the Address Book.
