Address book

I've upgraded from MS2004 to MS2008.
The address book does not sort in any column property. For example, the name column displays addresses helter skelter.
In order to find a contact I have to use "find". Any advice or should I give up and return to MS2004?

I've upgraded from MS2004 to MS2008.
The address book does not sort in any column property. For example, the name
column displays addresses helter skelter.

The Name column in Entourage has always been confusing. In 2004 the Address
Book displays the names as FirstName LastName, but they are sorted in
alphabetical order by LAST name, not first name.

In Entourage 2008, you can remove the "name" column and replace it with
"Last Name" and "First Name". Drag the columns to sort by your preference.
(set this under View --> Columns)
In order to find a contact I have to use "find". Any advice or should I give
up and return to MS2004?

Be sure your columns is selected correctly on what you want to 'sort'.

For example, if you had clicked on Home Phone column, then everything would
look really weird.

Hope this helps.
