Address Panel Malfunctions

When I create a new message I can type in the addresses and tab between
items but I cannot click on any of the buttons in the Panel nor can I select
any contact from the Address List at the side. The recent contacts list
appears as I type and I can select from that.

I have had this problem for sometime but have been able to limp along OK but
with the recent shift to Exchange I cannot even test if I am accessing the
Global address list or not.

Has anyone else had an experience like this?

First, try removing the Entourage Preferences and Entourage Settings (10)
files from [Hard Disk]/Users/[username]/Library/Preferences/Microsoft/
folder and re-launching Entourage.

If that doesn't help, get the Office Remover from the Value pack on the CD
to your hard disk (you can just drag it), run it, empty the trash, reinstall
Office v. X from the CD, apply the Office 10,1,2 Update, 10.1.4 update and
10.1.5 update. Then everything will be fine. The Remover will not touch your
data.
