Addressbook / Contacts

When I type a new message and then I want to send it I press the To: Button
to open my contact list. To my surprise some of the contacts aren't there
even they are clearly in the address book. A) what is the difference between
the address book and the contacts and B) how do I synchronize the address
book and contacts that I have all the address book entries in my contact list
is well. Thank you.

There shouldn't be a difference between your Outlook Address Book and the
contact folders it contains since the Outlook Address Book is dynamically
created from them. What version of Outlook are you using?

Thanks for your reply. I am using Outlook 2003. Any suggestion,
it really is different.

In your Contact folder list, select a particular folder > Rightclick >
Properties > Outlook Address Book tab > check the box, “Show this folder
as an e-mail Address Book” > Apply > OK.
Do that to all the folders and sub folders you want to show up when you
hit the "To:" button of the New Message window.
