Addresses Disappearing

This past week, my entire database disappeared from Entourage. I had
not done anything, in fact, it happened overnight. I then did a sync
with my phone, in the hopes to get everything back and it, of course,
erased everything from my phone! This seems to be the second time
this has happened. Has anyone had this problem? Any thoughts on what
it could be? It's incredibly annoying to have to keep rebuilding a
3000 name database! Any help is appreciated.

Is Entourage opening with a new blank Identity that contains the Welcome
message?

If yes, you or your virus software moved your Microsoft User Data folder
from your User's Document folder.

Same thing happened to me yesterday. I have a 5GB+ database, so this
is a royal pain. Yes, I had sync services on so I could use native
address book for other apps. Not anymore. Was able to recover
addresses from my handheld (albeit missing data that doesn't sync from
Entourage to Palm). I have backups, but it's just as time consuming to
extract from them. Lesson learned.
