Hi all,
I'm not sure where to ask this question so I came here.
I'm getting overwhelmed with spam e-mail's containing
viruses. I'm changing my address but wanted to try and
prevent this from happening (I know, yeah right).
A while back I heard of a free service where you signed
up and could get unlimited e-mail addresses. The theory
was you would get a fake address that pointed to your
real one. Then you would give out your fake address(es)
to online vendors. the service would forward the mail to
you and if you responded, they would strip out your real
address and only show the fake one. Then if you got spam
to that address, you could just shut it down without
loosing your real address.
Can somebody point me to the service (or am I dreaming)?
I can't seem to find it.
TIA
Greg
