Advanced Find crashes Outlook 2003

The problem sequence of events:
1 Outlook 2003 open at the Inbox pane
2 Select "Advanced Find" on the toolbar
3 "Advanced Find" dialog opens
4 In "Loof for:" select "Contacts"
5 Immediately (or after a short pause) and every time, up pops the
"Microsoft Outlook has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry
for the inconvenience." Dialog.
