advanced sorting

If I have 3 sheets, Sheet1, Sheet2, & Sheet3;
And each sheet has a list of names on it.

Then I have 4th sheet, Sheet4, which has all the names in one column, linked
from the other 3 sheets. Is there a way to double sort that column? Where
the names from Sheet1 will all be first, sorted A to Z, then the names from
Sheet2, sorted A-z, and finally the names from Sheet3, sorted A to Z?

The easies way is to add an auxillary column with the sheet number. The sort
the auxilary column as the first sort index and the column A as the second
sort index. The auxilary column can be any column like column IV (the last
column on the worksheet) so it is not seen.
