Advanced Time Calculations

I have searched through and through and read the relevant time arithmetic
docs/articles/howtos/etc.

I have 4 text areas: TimeStart TimeFinish TimeSunrise TimeSunset
When a user inputs those 4 values, I'm trying to have 3 other text areas
calculate the total time: Total time, Total time during daylight, and Total
time during night.

I am trying to achieve this using jscript. Any help/direction would be
greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
