After Palm sync: addresses not alphabetized

Hi,
This has been happening for years, finally decided to ask about it:

There are always some address that when imported into palm, not put
themselves in the proper alphabetical order. Usually they are company
names. If I click on the name in the Palm address book and edit the name by
added a space in front of the company name and then deleted the space, it
will put itself in the correct alphabetical order.

Any suggestions?

I'm using Mac OS 10.3.7
Palm 5.2.1
Entourage 10.1.6
Microsoft conduit 10.1.4
