after SP1 in xp prof blinking cursor height reduced to half any kn

Hi all,
after applying service pack1 on word 2003 noticed something unusual. the
blinking cursor height is very small. no idea why? the installation of sp1
went on well without any problem. is there a set up somewhere which makes the
cursor appear normal in word.

FYI - the cursor is fine in all other applications but for word.
