After importing a series of mailboxes from other programs I have
a list of folders indented under one "Import" box. How can I get rid
of the indentation and have one aligned list of folders? Thanks for
any help.
The previous answer to this question on this page didn't help.
Is there a script that will help with this process?

I read that answer. You must not have understood.

One at a time, drag each subfolder up to the "On My Computer" container
(row) at the top and release the mouse. That moves the folder to be a
top-level folder, and the same first-level indent as the Inbox, etc., and
appearing alphabetically under the "special" folders (Inbox, Outbox, etc.)

When you've got them all moved, your "Import" folder should be empty. Move
it to Deleted Items (or select it and click Delete).

There's an easier way to do this. Temporarily "Delete" (under "Edit")
the folder in question. the folder will then appear separately under
"Deleted Items". Then it will be much closer to "Folders on My
Cimpter". If you drop the folder on the latter it will jump into the
alphabetized order.
I have groups of fifty to a hundered imported folders; it's
impossible to drag and drop that many separately in a short time. - MP
