All of my email has disappeared

Hi

Can anyone help me please. I am running entourage as my default email
programme from Office 2004 on Mac OS X. For no discernable reason
entourage opened with the 'welcome to entourage', 'this is the first
time you've used this programme' etc.. message and all of my emails
(sent mail and inbox and drafts etc..) had disappeared. Does anyone
have any advice on why this may have happened or where to look for the
lost mail (I'm not an experienced mac user)?

I've tried in the Microsoft user data>Office 2004 identities>Main
identity>database path. This brings up only the emails I have recieved
since this problem started.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Many thanks

neil

You moved or deleted your Microsoft User Data folder, so Entourage
created a brand-new one the next time you started it.

You'll have to use Spotlight to figure out where you moved the
Microsoft User Data folder before Entourage created a new one, or, if
you deleted it, restore it from backup. You do have backups, right?

Brilliant, thanks for the advice. I managed to find the old one
somewhere and restore it all.
