Some Microsoft Office products allow the user to change various default file
locations. MS Outlook and MSN Messenger do not. I use MSN Messenger often to
transfer small files to other company workers and it does not even 'remember'
the previous location of a sent file during the same session. I am one of
those cussed users who prefer to store all my transient files under a single
multi sub folder location and do not use My Documents. I backup these
locations using simple ZIP files and manage very well. I am a single user on
my computer as I imagine the vast majority of users in the world are.
Microsoft should allow more felxibility for these kind of situations.
