Provide a Windows option that allows"n" highlighted files to be opened and
automatically "cut & pasted" into a single new file, based on the
characteristics of the first file opened, an existing open file or a
pre-selected file.
This is similar to the old mainframe concatenation ability to process
multiple files as one file.
An example would be to take (say) 365 daily report files (eg with names
starting with yymmdd) and creating a yearly file for distribution or
summarisation without having to manually cut and paste each file into a
single file.
