As described on the Entourage Help Page
<http://www.entourage.mvps.org/faq/faqs.html#Anchor-197>, the Address Book
is sorted by last name if you click the "Name" column header. Clicking it
multiple times should switch the order between Z-A to A-Z.

If after clicking that header the Address Book still seems to be in a random
order, you might need to rebuild the database. In Entourage Z, begin by
going to Entourage -> Turn Off Office Notifications. Now, quit Entourage,
and then restart Entourage holding down the Option key. When the Rebuild
dialog box comes up, choose to do a Typical Rebuild.

To alphabetize by name, click on the Name column header within the Address
Book view. Click again to toggle between ascending and descending
alphabetization. It does the alphabetizing by last name; I'm not sure if
it's possible to alphabetize by first name (like it is in Apple's
AddressBook.app).

Copy - or move - the first name into the Nickname field. Move the Nickname
column to the left of the Name column. Click on Nickname header.
