Alter execution pf presentation

Hi --

I have a PowerPoint 2003 presentation with about two dozen slides that will
run in sequence. However, on\ one of the slides I would like to "elaborate"
if the moment calls for it. I would like the option of showing a separate
set of slides at this point.

On the slide in the main presentation,. I put an Action button and
programmed it to run this second presentation if the button is clicked.

Now -- Once this second presentation has played through (or has been
aborted), how do I get back to what I was doing before I clicked on that
Action button?

Thanks,
CL

The linked show effectively creates a new layer over the first active show.
The old presentation is still loaded and running, but underneath the new
show.

Hitting the escape key once to end the second layer linked show ( or just
running the linked show to completion) should take you back to the first
presentation on the same slide that you left from.

Thanks for the info! It works if I just run the presentation (rather than
press F5 to start a slide show while editing it).

Me again --

Actually, it doesn't work quite as expected. If I play the second
presentation through to the end, I still get the "End of slide show" slide.
Is there any way to kill that?

Thanks again,
CL
