altering modified date of e-mail messages

Joe

while attempting to archive mey old e-mail yesterday, due
to my mailbox size becoming larger than my allotted
network space, I've somehow managed to update the modified
date of every e-mail I've ever recieved to yesterday's
date. This means I'm now forced to archive my entire
mailbox if I want to send messages.

Is there any way I can reset or override the modified date
for determining the age of the message?

No, but you can always open a .PST file such as Archive.pst and manually
drag items to it...
