Always reply with the entire message

I know Entourage has the option under preferences/reply & forward "Include
entire message in reply". However, it appears that this setting is
overridden if the user has some of the text selected.

Is there a way to force a reply to contain the entire message? We have a
number of people who highlight IDs to copy and paste into another
application so that data can be retrieved; then, when replying forget to
unselected that ID. This leads to just the ID being sent off from the
original message in the reply.

Hope that makes sense.

Thanks in advance.

When you reply it's pretty obvious that the entire message wasn't quoted.
Entourage is doing what is expected, it's your user that needs the
adjustment.

And by default Entourage will quote the entire message down to the sig
line, which is the two hypens followed by a space (you'll see this at
the end of my message here). You can even include all that too if you
simply type Command + a (Select All) and then reply for forward.

Thanks for the response. Yeah, I know this is working as expected, but
other email clients have an option to turn it off, just wondered whether
that existed somewhere in entourage.

Thanks
