As said; rename extend.dat. If you can't find it use Search or use
OutlookTools (free) to locate the folder for you;

I have downloaded found the file, renamed it and now I get run Regsvr32.exe
Vbscript.dll
I then do that and get error 80004005

You'll have to explain yourself a whole lot more for that to make sense to
us. Post your exact configuration and exact actions in order to reproduce
the errors.

I think the statement is so clear,
He renamed the file using the tools you recommended and then he got a the
regsrv32 error

you don't need a vbs script to delete the file - paste this line in the
start menu, run box or vista's start search - or even in windows explorer
address bar:
%USERPROFILE%\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook
it will open you to that folder. You should see all hidden files and
folders but if not, will need to enable it in windows explorer.
