I have a Mac G4 tower running OS 10.2.8, using Entourage from Office X
for email. I began receiving an error message today saying that I
couldn't send email via the .mac server. I rebooted my router (I have
a cable modem) and sent a test email to myself. When the email came
into my inbox, I couldn't do anything with it--open it, move it,
delete it or mark it as read. Just moving the mouse over it causes an
error message to appear. I had to force quit out of Entourage when I
clicked on the email. When I relaunched Entourage, that email seemed
to be making my Inbox behave erratically. There was blank space in the
list of emails in my inbox for that email and all below it. The others
would appear when I clicked on them, but I can't seem to delete them.
Do I have to delete my email identity in Entourage and then recreate
it, or is there something else I can do just to get rid of the
offending email?
Thank you very much.
