An Unexpected Error Has Occurred

I receive the following error "An Unexpected Error Has
Occurred" when I click on a WWW link within an Excel cell.
I located one article (231840) on the MS support website
that references this message but it does not apply to my
situation.

Believe it or not, it might just be something as simple as it being an incorrect URL in the link... I've had that happen to me many times, and if the URL doesn't exist, or gives an error, you'll get that message from Excel.

Make sure the URL has closed slashes for a home directory:
http://www.mysite.com/ instead of http://www.mysite.com .
