Hi,
I would like to optimize the analysis of data that is distributed on several
worksheets. Here are the details:
1. The names of companies are always in column A of every worksheet.
However, the length of the column (quantity of listed companies) can differ
from sheet to sheet.
2. The calculations I would like to make are twofold:
a) to calculate the frequency of every company that appears throughout these
worksheets and then to present the results of this counting on the "summary"
sheet (f. ex. if the company XYZ apprears twice on Sheet1, does not appear
on Sheet 2 and appears three times on Sheet 3, so the Summary sheet would
give us: XYZ 5).
b) to calculate the frequency of every company, but with condition that it
MUST NOT appear on a particular sheet (f. ex list the frequency of all the
companies that do not appear on Sheet 3 but appear on other worksheets...).
It would be ideal if the calulations were dynamic.
Do you have any ideas? Any suggestions?
