Animat a organisations schedula

I'm running a swedish version of PP 2003 so I hope that I can get the words
correctly translated or close enough.

I want to animate the cells of an organisations schedule, some with just one
cell and some with more cells at once.
But when I try the animations controls the intire schedule and I can't get
it to control just on or more cells.


Also I have an assingment to switch the background of each cell to the theme
fire...but I can't even find themes in Power Point, unless they mena thos
backgrounds you can choose (with maple leafs, sun, the coust and so on)..I
have no fire there but I can probably use something else.
Only when I try with those PP changes the intire pages background and
doesn't do anything with the cells background.



I'm guessing that I somehow have to split the schedule to do these things,
but how?

Don't worry you are doing fine on the translation front.
If you animate an organizational chart it all depends on the kind of
animation you use. When you apply an entrance effect to your chart, double
click it in the custom animation task pane, choose the last tab, choose the
listarrow next to group and you will have different possibilities.
If that does not do it for you, you can always draw your chart using the
drawing tools, and use connector lines to group your boxes.
You will have more flexibility to animate them seperately or grouped.

As to your background on the toolbar organization chart there is a button to
apply auto-formatting to your chart (it's next to the zoom percentage), one
of them is called fire, just click on it and the entire chart will take on
that background.

Everything works fine with the background now. Thank you so much!
But I guess I'm having a bit of at translations problem with the animation.

As I understand it. I create an animation (Fly in or something like that)
then i double click...but where? I have tried where ever I can think
of...choose the last tab: I'm guessing thats a text or is it the cell. (I
know what the tab key on the keyboard is, but thats now what you mean now).

When I create the animation a box with the number: 1 appears beisde the
chart, which it of course does for all animations. I'm guessing that that is
what needs to be moved?

Sorry. I usually have no problems with english, but when it comes to these
words I get a bit confused.

I managed to solve it. It hade a complete different name in Swedish (my
translations attempts did not even come close) and i accidentaly stumbled
across it.

As an aside, there is a list of PowerPoints menu's available in 5 languages
: English, French, German, Dutch, and Spanish.
