Animated Charts

My boss is giving presentation and he wants to have a chart graph of, let's say, revenue recorded by a company for each quarter. He wants each quarter to be time animated. He then wants this chart to be superimposed by another chart of how much of that revenue was fraud. Can this be done on pp 2000?

As of now, I am going to make 1 chart of 1 thing. Then have the other chart show up on the click of a mouse.

Please help.

You could set the two different data series on the same chart and then use the custom animation settings to animate each setting on mouseclick.

Or it might be easier to create the one chart with the two sets of data, make a copy of the chart and ungroup it (Draw/Ungroup), then animate the pieces you need.

You'll want to drag the original graph off the edge of the slide so it doesn't show in the presentation but you'll still have it available if you need to change any data. I often do this and right-click the graph, choose Format Object, and set it to 5% size so it isn't so noticeable to others using the file and so it doesn't move my actual slide clear over to the left.
