Animated Gif won't send

I can receive animated gifs OK but when I try and forward
them or send a new one they are no longer animated. Just
a picture instead.

Can someone tell me what setting is blocking this?

When you insert an animated gif file into the body of a
html e-mail it will appear as a still image. Once it is
sent it will be seen as an animated image. Test this for
yourself; send and e-mail with an animated gif inserted.
Once it has been sent find it in the Sent Items folder.
Open it and you'll see that the image is animated.
