animated gifs in message

Does anyone know if you can embed animated gifs within the message in
Entourage? As a newbie using this program, I've tried and tried.
When I attempt to insert the animated .gif file, only the first frame
shows up (unanimated). Is this feature just not available in
Entourage X?

Entourage itself does not animate gifs in a message window. Occasionally, if
you receive an animated gif in a 'complex html' message (one that contains
stuff beyond the capabilities of the limited entourage editor) the message
display will be passed off tot he IE libraries, and they will animate the
gif, but this will never apply to messages created in Entourage.
